Apr 06Jul 15APPLY NOW - IAF Franz Kempf Printmaker Award
The Independent Arts Foundation Franz Kempf Printmaker Award supports the professional development of a South Australian printmaker (aged 26 and under).
The award is offered biennially for professional development, with the next activity period taking place from 1 January - 31 December 2017, valued at $4,000.
The award has been made possible due to a generous gift made by long-time Independent Arts Foundation member and internationally recognised, Adelaide-based artist Franz Kempf AM.
With a celebrated career spanning over half a century, Franz realises the value of providing development opportunities for emerging printmakers. The biennial award of $4,000 is to pursue professional development opportunities in the artistic practice of printmaking.
Carclew's Funding Program Coordinator is available to provide information and support for those applying for the Independent Arts Foundation Franz Kempf Printmaker Award to further develop their practice.
The award is offered biennially. Applications for professional development opportunities to be pursued in 2017 are now open and will close on 15 July 2016. Click on the link to the right of this page to download the guidelines and application form.
All applicants are encouraged to discuss their project proposal prior to submitting an application. Please contact Carclew's Funding Program Coordinator to arrange a time to meet. No consults will be available in the final week before the application deadline.
A public information session was held at Carclew on Monday 9 May to provide key information about the award and to discuss the application process.
Applicants are to be aged 26 years or under at the closing date.
