Circus and theatre performer by passion, artistic director by skill, teacher by nature, actor by trade, practitioner of Commedia dell'Arte, based in South Australia by fate.
Alessandro has a diverse work history bringing many experiences and skills to his work with South Australian schools. With a Bachelor degree in PE, Alessandro worked at the Berlin Gymnaestrada, as an acrobat and demonstrated his stilt skills during an Argentinean Tango performance to celebrate the New Millennium in Torino. During his Physical Theatre studies (Lecoq method), from 2001-2004 Alessandro also studied with the Moscow Circus and the International School of Comic Acting and Commedia dell'Arte, with A. Fava in 2004.
Since arriving in Adelaide, in 2005 Alessandro has performed and taught circus and Commedia to more than 10,000 participants and audience members. Now based in Adelaide, working and living doing what he likes the most Alessandro has been a regular lecturer at the Italian University in Movement Science and has been an Artist in Residence for Carclew’s Artists in Schools and Cargo programs.
