Step inside one of Adelaide’s most iconic manors – brought to life like never before.
This year, Carclew’s beloved History Festival tours are getting a creative refresh in collaboration with Famous Last Words, a youth-led theatre company. Their theatrical touch enriches each tour with cultural storytelling and powerful accounts of significant South Australians who helped shape our state.
Built in 1897 on Kaurna Land, Carclew House has evolved from a grand private residence into South Australia’s home for youth arts. Led by staff and artists, these guided tours blend history, creativity and community in a family-friendly manner.
Bring the kids, enjoy the lush gardens and stay for two visual art exhibitions on at the house. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. (under 12 years of age)
