ExpressWay Arts Skills Showcase

Event

Carclew presents an opportunity on Friday July 8 to support emerging young performers from our Expressway Arts program, in Adelaide’s south.

Come along for a fun, informal night to celebrate these young creatives, support their achievements and discuss challenges they have faced along the way.

Expressway Arts is an open access program, in partnership with the City of Onkaparinga. The young participants, from 13- 24 in age, live in the Onkaparinga area and represent a range of backgrounds and aspirations.

This year they have created their very own magic! You will experience a glimpse of the skills these young aspiring artists developed whilst mentored by professional arts practitioners including: performance and dialect, improvisation, physical theatre, animation, visual arts and film, all put together by the limitless talents of Director Clara Solly-Slade.

Mingle with the young artists and be inspired.

Refreshments provided (including something to keep you warm!).

“They are all busting to show you the creative skills they have gained so far and talk with a supportive audience about the creative experiences they have accessed over the past year.” Tamara Lee Collin – Creative Producer Expressway Arts

We invite you to join us for a community spirited fun night out!
