Pom Pom presents Patchworked

Event / For Children / For Artists

Patchworked showcases the creativity and artworks made by children 12 years and younger from our Pom Pom program. The exhibition includes a range of mediums, such as printmaking, ceramics, drawing, painting, collage, assemblage and digital animation. Together, they accumulate into a unique insight and experience into children’s ideas, imagination and perspective. The exhibition is part of the DreamBIG Festival, a festival that celebrate art made by and for young people. Patchworked is perfect exhibition to keep inspiration flowing between festival activities or for a special trip to explore the visual arts.

Pom Pom is a program that offers free hands-on creative workshops delivered by leading arts practitioners. Pom Pom supports an art making process between children and their families and carers, while offering children enchanting contemporary arts experiences.

Don’t miss the exhibition’s opening night on May 12th at 5pm at Gallery 3, Adelaide Festival Centre Foyer, or drop by anytime between May 12th-26th from 10am-3pm to experience the wonder for yourself!
