Carclew’s much-loved school holiday program is back at our  North Adelaide home. Get ready for an action-packed week of creativity and fun at Carclew’s July School Holiday Program. We have an exciting lineup of activities that will spark your imagination and keep you entertained all week long. Here’s what’s in store:

Monday the 15th of July: Zines Workshop / Collaborative City-scape Drawing Extravaganza 

Artist: Ruby Chew

Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm & 1:00pm – 3:00pm (2 hours each)

Suitable for: Ages 7 – 12

Learn different folding techniques to create your own books AKA zines! You’ll fill these with dynamic patterns and drawings full of colour, bringing the pages to life. Take your drawing to the next level! Work with your fellow budding artists on a huge collaborative artwork where you’ll create a birds eye view of a city-scape you invent together. it’s a perfect way to start the week with creativity and fun!

Tuesday the 16th of July: Dance and Movement Master Class

Artist: Tanya Voges

Time: 1:30pm – 4:00pm (2.5 hours)

Suitable for: Ages 12 – 17

Get moving with dynamic dance and movement workshops hosted by Tanya Voges. Explore how movement translates into visual art and mark making. Collaboration will be a highlight. An opportunity to collaborate from 3:30-4:00pm.

Tuesday the 16th of July: Songwriting Session Master Class

Artist: Naomi Keyte

Time: 1:30pm – 4:00pm (2.5 hours)

Suitable for: Ages 12 – 17

Unleash your inner voice, join artist Naomi Keyte for a 2-hour masterclass in songwriting. In the session we will explore the creative voice and how to connect through the art of songwriting. An opportunity to collaborate from 3:30-4:00pm.

Friday the 19th of July: Songwriting Sessions

Artist: Mario Späte

Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm (4 hours)

Suitable for: Ages 14 – 17

Limited spaces available*
This workshop is for young musicians who want to explore the world of music production to take their songwriting to the next level. Existing bands are encouraged to apply.
