Creative Learning

Carclew’s creative learning programs connect children and young people, educators and learning communities with the broader arts sector. Our programs are for every child and young person in South Australia, opening up opportunities to experience, explore and participate in the arts as artists, learners and audiences.

Our Approach

Creative Learning Partnerships

Carclew takes a partnership approach to working with schools, bringing together professional artists, educators, children and young people around a shared purpose. We work collaboratively to shape creative learning that responds to each school community while remaining grounded in contemporary artistic practice and the ideas, interests and agency of young people. Partnerships are built on shared planning, clear roles, trust and flexibility, with creative process, learning and wellbeing valued alongside artistic outcomes.
